What is Kanex and how does it help?

Kanex is made from 50% Dulse and 50% crushed organic Styrian pumpkin seeds. It is considered an effective natural worm preventative.

Dulse (Palmaria palmata) is a red seaweed common in Irish waters. Traditionally, it has been used as an anti-helminthic due to its high levels of kainic acid, which studies show is a potent anthelminthic compound that helps inhibit worm egg development.

Pumpkin seeds are also a proven natural anti-helminthic. Studies show they can be as effective as Panacur (Fenbendazole), one of the most commonly used chemical wormers in pets. Pumpkin seeds work by reducing adult worm motility.

When should I NOT use Kanex?

Do not use Kanex on dogs undergoing treatment for hyperthyroidism.
