Yes! Nature Dog is perfectly suitable for puppies. Contact us for more information about how to feed a puppy and refer to our handy feeding calculator to learn how much to feed a
puppy.

It is recommended that a healthy active dog be fed 2 – 3% of their body weight each day.

To do this, multiply the weight of your dog by 2 or 3 and this will give you the total amount of food they need per day in grams. For particularly active dogs, adolescent dogs or puppies a different percentage is required. Use our handy calculator to learn how much to feed dogs of all ages and
lifestyle.

Feed your dog less.
Nature Dog makes it easy to manage how much food you are feeding your dogs. Feel your dog. If you can’t feel their ribs cut back on the amount of food. If you can see their ribs feed them a little more.

Wild dogs have always consumed raw bones and our modern dog is no different. Raw bones are a great balanced source of calcium, phosphorus and good fats plus they act as a natural toothbrush for your dog, cleaning teeth and gums and exercising the jaw. Refer to our Raw Meaty Bones 101 Dog Food Guide for more information.

Yes. If your dog has Pancreatitis, it needs less fat in its diet, so you should select meals that contain lean
proteins. The Nature Dog Single Protein range is an ideal option for dogs with Pancreatitis as it contains proteins such as Kangaroo and Venison which are very low in fat yet highly nutritious, which are blended with healthy, fibrous vegetables and fruits.

Yes, this can happen.

Surprisingly the most common reason for this is that for the first time in its life your dog is satisfied or simply put, they are full. As such they might refuse to eat for a day or two after being given Nature Dog for the first few times. This is perfectly normal. A day or two of no food will not harm your dog. It will actually give your dog’s digestive tract a rest, which can be beneficial.

Yes, it is perfectly okay to give your dog a ‘day off’ food once a week or every 7 days. Giving your dog a break from food gives their digestive tract a rest It allows the digestive tract to fully eliminate all food and subsequently thoroughly digest what it eats next.

Yes. Quality raw food that is made, stored and handled according to safe-meat handling guidelines is perfectly safe for dogs. Unlike humans, the risk of Salmonella and E. coli is very low in dogs because a dog’s digestive system is much shorter and highly acidic compared to that of humans.
