What is Nature Dog?
Nature Dog raw dog food is a nutritious blend of fresh raw meat, ground meaty bones and fresh, raw, seasonal vegetables and fruit, offal plus more. It is small batch, made in Melbourne using 100% Australian human-grade, grass feed, preservative free and hormone free meats.Nature Dog is packed with naturally occurring protein, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fatty acids – all the essential nutrients for your dog to thrive.
It is created using minced raw meat, ground raw meaty bones, combined with at least 9 different raw vegetables and fruit that are also minced to allow the plant cell walls to break down, making it nice and easy for your dog to digest. Its then lovingly stirred together with our added extras of offal, parsley, spirulina and alfalfa.
Nature Dog comes to you frozen, in environmentally friendly, fully compostable, vacuum sealed pouches. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months and when required you simply defrost it in the fridge. You can keep it in the refrigerated for up to 5 days. Nature Dog is manufactured is a fully accredited Primesafe facility.
Nature Dog is brought to you by dog lover Annie (human) and her loyal companion Mollie (dog/human) a Border Collie x Maremma. When Annie was given Mollie, a tan and white 8-week old pup in 2003, she was determined to provide her with the very best of everything. After a friend mentioned to Annie that dogs should only eat raw food, Annie was intrigued and began to research the concept. Her research into the natural diet of dogs and the lack of raw and natural dog food offered in the market, led Annie to make her own natural and raw mix for Mollie.
More and more people then started asking Annie why Mollie’s coat always looked so good, why she didn’t smell doggy, why she had a calm temperament, and why she had such clean teeth and fresh breath. This led Annie to start Nature Dog; to give other dog lovers and their pooches access to raw and natural dog food. Annie has spent the last 20 years dedicated to the study, research and development of Nature Dog raw food for dogs.
Annie is a qualified small animal nutritionist having successfully graduating from the National College of Traditional Medicine. This complements her years of study in Applied Science, Horticulture and Outdoor Education.
